Know the phone before you pay for it.
Snap the About screen or type the IMEI. We check it against Apple's records and tell you, in plain words, whether the phone is genuine, unlocked, and free of someone else's account.

Vouching your phone
This usually takes a few seconds.
- Reading the IMEI from your photos
- Checking the device against Apple
- Writing your report
Settings › General › About. That one screen is all we need.
Three steps, about ten seconds.
You do not need to know what an IMEI is, or what Activation Lock means. Point, upload, read the answer.
Show us the phone
Open Settings, General, About and screenshot it. Or photograph the SIM tray, the box label, or the screen after dialling *#06#. Type the IMEI by hand if you prefer.
We read and verify it
We pull the IMEI out of your image, then ask Apple's device database what it knows: the true model, the warranty, the network lock, and whether Find My is still switched on.
You get a straight answer
Green means buy it. Gold means there is something to haggle over. Red means walk away. Every line is explained in normal language, with the raw record underneath.
The four things that decide whether a used iPhone is worth buying.
A phone can look immaculate and still be worthless to you. These are the checks that catch it.
It is really an iPhone
Apple confirms the exact model, storage, colour and serial number behind the IMEI. If the record does not exist, the handset is not what the seller says it is.
Activation Lock is off
If Find My is still on, the phone belongs to another Apple Account. Reset it and it becomes a brick. This is the check that separates a bargain from a stolen phone.
Any SIM will work
Plenty of imported handsets are tied to a foreign network. We tell you which one, so you know before you discover your SIM does not fit the contract.
Its real age and history
Estimated purchase date, warranty state, and whether Apple ever swapped the unit. A "barely used" phone bought in 2016 stops being barely used.
Straight answers.
Is this really free?
Yes. No account, no card, no trial. Check as many phones as you like, within a fair-use limit that stops bots from draining the service.
What happens to the photos I upload?
They are read once, in memory, purely to find the IMEI, and are discarded immediately. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is kept. We store the device result, never the image.
Does a green result mean the phone is definitely not stolen?
It means Apple reports no Activation Lock and no network lock, which is the strongest public signal available. It is not a police database. Always meet in a safe place and ask for the receipt.
Where do I find the IMEI?
Dial *#06# and it appears instantly. It is also under Settings, General, About, on the SIM tray of older iPhones, and printed on the barcode of the retail box.
Do you support Samsung, Tecno or Infinix?
Not yet. Vouch currently covers iPhone and iPad, where Activation Lock makes the check genuinely meaningful. Android support is being worked on.
